C B McMillan left Murray Harbor for Boston yesterday morning. A vessel loaded at Montague with pork and eggs waited in port for a storm to abate. The steamship Dictator Bonnet arrived at St Pierre after a stormy passage, losing part of its deckload. Electric Light service at Montague was cut by blowing trees, preventing the weekly church service.

At West River on October 29 a son was born to Charles and Mrs Moore. At Orapaud on November 1 a son was born to F A and Mrs Wotton.
