The Empire Black Fox Company officials forewent west, bringing pedigreed foxes from James Tuplin’s Grand Banks ranch. stock to close to public, investors urged to buy shares. Tuplin foxes include a grandsire whose pelt set a London price above 1400. Club pennants advertised at Carter’s Bookstore. Mac’s Free Veterinary Bureau offers cattle and horse care information at 149 Great Green.]

In London on October 80 rough weather in the English Channel postponed firing experiments at Portland using the old battleship Empress of India as a target. In Plymouth the Swedish warship Fylgia bound for the West Indies and North American ports was moved to the harbor dockyards for safety.
Phoebe Couzins, 73, former United States marshal and author, and her brother John Couzins, 63, live in destitute conditions in squalid rooms at 2722 Pine Street, St. Louis, Oct. 30 report.
