Close of General Assembly Ends Canadian Presbyterian Meeting

Fredericton June 19 Cyril Young F R G S superintendent development of the Canadian National Railways reports preliminary surveys indicate rich mineral possibilities in northern New Brunswick notably in the headwaters of the Tobique Miramichi Nipisiguit and Upsalquiten rivers. He cites a precambrian formation similar to regions in Ontario Quebec and Manitoba where copper zinc lead and possibly gold may be found. He spoke at a Rotary luncheon urging continued surveys and predicts Maritime Canada will play a key role in future steel and nickel production.
