Disbandment and reorganization of Island forces announced

Special to The Guardian reports militia orders from Ottawa on June 16. The 68th King’s County Regiment is disbanded. The Fourth P. E. Island Heavy Brigade reorganizes into two heavy batteries and two ammunition columns. The Ninth Battery moves to a Battery of Field Artillery, designated 57th, and joins the Third Field Artillery Brigade.
