Queen's County Women’s Christian Temperance Union held their third annual convention on Friday June 6 at Trinity Social Hall. The program opened with prayer and song, luncheon, reports from branches, and a temperance contest. Officers were elected with Mrs Crosby Cornwall as president and resolutions endorsed support for prohibition and opposition to liquor friendly candidates. Meeting closed with prayer.

Mrs Duff returns to Summerside from New Brunswick New Jersey for summer. Mr Allison Moore of the Canadian Bank of Commerce Montague summers with his parents in Summerside. Miss Hilda Linkletter of Sherbrooke underwent surgery in Prince County Hospital for appendicitis and is recovering well. Mr and Mrs J S Carroll and family visit Margaritaville friends in Margate for their 31st and 26th trips respectively, renewing longtime ties.
