A great storm swept over Pine Town Natal, center of tea and sugar plantations, causing reservoir overflow and the death of 300 people. The disaster produced additional casualties in surrounding areas.
Reports from Soutau Albania indicate Cotinie Montenegro was struck by a quake killing about 100 people and injuring 250. The town is said to be completely devastated and casualty totals may rise.

Ottawa May 31. E M MacDonald MP of Pictou leaves for London to address tomorrow night in support of Mr Hyman. He will also speak in North Oxford at Woodstock describing campaign aims and urging voter backing.
