In a letter to the Charlottetown Guardian, an auto driver rebuts Bel fast arguing Government and machines leave no memory. He says roads are littered with “monuments” that endanger drivers, especially on humpbacked stretches. The memoires of these dangers are lasting, he asserts, even if the structures themselves fade.
At the Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in Canada meeting held at Zion Church this week a unanimous resolution of sympathy was adopted for the family of the late Mr Cartney McLure elder at Murray Harbor North. The clerk was directed to communicate the expression of sympathy.

Halifax reports outline for a national memorial and convention centre in Ottawa to honor Canadian women of the Great War era. The facilities would seat 2000, include a banquet hall, archives, museum and Hall of Fame, with government funding for heating and staffing. An organization drive aims to secure broad support from national groups.
Roberta Lee offers simple home tips for cleaning painted walls using lukewarm water baking soda and a cloth. She also advises boracic acid solution with zinc ointment for acne scars and a cooking note that partly pre-browned pork finish in the oven reduces shrinking and yields tenderness.
Rev. G. 8, Buckingham of Ottawa spends a week in the city connected with the National Memorial Building to the Women of Canada planned for Ottawa. The site was set aside by an order in council on December 21, 1925. Plans submitted with an estimated cost near $250,000 to be raised by women.
