Beeton Ont July 7 Hon G Ferguson attacked U S C and Premier Drury in a speech to conservatives. He accused Drury of breaking pre election promises, noted capital expenditure rising from 47 to 88 million in 1920, and warned of a 15 dollar per head provincial mortgage. He cited a planned spend of 100 million this year and a record of broken promises by the U F C.
Cambridge Brockton resident Charles H. Jackson, claimed world’s largest man at 630 pounds, died in New York hospital after illness. The report includes a long tribute to Georges Carpentier and quotes boxing figures on his era, ending with Quebec city population and property values.
