Halifax February 28 One of the aims of a maritime university is to send its faculty into service. Dr G B Cutten president of Acadia College will command a company of the 219th Battalion in the Nova Scotia Highland Brigade. He begins officer training and a recruiting drive. Twenty five Acadia undergraduates enlist to join the company. Mobilization quarters will be at Wolfville allowing students to study while training. The brigade plans four battalions and hopes to meet the required manpower in just over a month.
