Twenty five oysters with butter pepper and celery seed simmer in water. Wash drain oysters sear in hot kettle. Save liquor, chop oysters, return with liquor in double boiler. Add water celery seed and pepper and cook slowly for thirty minutes.
Make one half pound of short pastry and roll very thin. Cut into two oven sized strips and spread with the described mixture. Put the strips together, bake in a hot oven, lift sugar over, and cut into fingers. For the mince: six apples, currants, bread crumbs, spice, lemon rind, brown sugar, melted butter mixed and used as directed.
