Tragic Niagara Row Ends in Fatal Explosion

In Lockport a drunken quarrel led to a shotgun blast and a dynamite explosion. The 16 year old Alexander Williams died. his mother and two sisters were injured. Daniel Williams, Danny Graham, Chauncy Orson and others witnessed the deadly chain of events at the cottage. The front collapsed as the blast occurred after the gun mishap.

Riflemen to Meet Washington at Camp Perry

It is expected that 22 foreign countries will be represented by rifle teams in the International match at Camp Perry Ohio in September next following the National Rifle meet there. Ottawa December 26. The department of trade and commerce released grain year totals ending August 31 1912. Lake and rail shipments reached 199 322 961 bushels surpassing 1911 and 1910. The report lists breakdown figures for eastward shipments and transport modes.

Prince George to Embark on Cruiser for Long Voyage

London cable reports Prince George son of the King may visit American ports after four years at Osborne and Dartmouth. He will sail aboard the armored cruiser Cumberland on January 16 with naval cadets for a world observance and instrumental purposes as Admiral ty permits a foreign port visit.
