Mr. William MacKay of Long Creek departs this morning for New York to seek hospital treatment. He will visit friends in Boston Providence and Philadelphia before returning home.

Plans call for Summerside and Kensington organization this week, aiming to cover principal centers province wide. Stephen McNeill, long respected Cardigan resident, died February 23 in his 77th year. His widow and four sons Joseph William Michael John James survive, along with two daughters Mrs John Campbell and Mary. Funeral held February 25 at All Saints Church with Requiem Mass by Rev M J Rooney R I P.
The United Church in Pownal hosted a Sunday night CGIT program led by Miss Cros by, drawing a good crowd despite bad roads. Hymns included Follow the Gleam and Taps as a fitting finale with organ and a five piece orchestra.

Donald Stewart of Lewis died on Saturday, March 23 1929, at his daughter-in-law Annie Stewart's home after a paralytic stroke. He had been a cripple from rheumatism for forty years and mostly bedridden in recent years. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Ann Stewart and his deceased son Donald Stewart Jr, killed four years ago in Nova Scotia.
The obituary notes the care by his daughter Mrs. James Purchase and sister Mrs. Catherine MacLean of Greenhill Nova Scotia. Funeral services were conducted from the late home in Lewis on Tuesday March 26 by Rev. Quincy A. McDowell, with internment at Caledonia Cemetery.
