Quilpie Patriotic Committee Meets June War Aid Plans
A Quilpie Patriotic Committee meeting on June 22 in the Council office discusses wool donations from Queensland Primary Producers to support the fund. Members plan wool packing and freighting overseas, allocate funds to the Quilpie District Soldiers' Aid, and consider subscriptions and parcel support via Red Cross for prisoners of war. Proposals to engage the Quilpie Race Club and further donations are noted.
