The regional meeting details the Western Division’s July activities of the Country Women's Association, with branches in Charleville, St. George, and Surat. Notes cover meetings, officer reports, fundraising events, and welfare drives, including a Christmas tree for children and donations to local hospitals and schools.
The report covers charity work by Mrs Armstrong and others, detailing aid for families and hospital expenses. It notes funds raised, clothing donations for children, and community support through the Paddy’s Market lot, with minutes from the annual meeting. It records officers including McCormack as president and Mrs Stevenson as secretary, and mentions Wool Exhibition duties and executive meetings.
The readable text presents a fragmented OCR passage with numerous garbled names and terms. No coherent event or structure remains, yielding a minimal, uncertain snapshot of people and roles without definite context or dates.
The article records an obituar y for Adarale Hospital and details a six month period of meetings and attire for members. It notes attendance, fund contributions, and a goal to extend the year with renewed membership and happier outcomes. It references treasurer apologies, balance sheets, and a secretary presentation.
