Mission sustains charity trip for Somers Town children
The Christian Men's Union Gospel Mission in Chalton Street Somers Town vows to fund an annual Epping Forest excursion for over five hundred children despite war-time fund pressures. The piece honors late Mrs. Ball and describes the mission’s work feeding poor children, visiting slums, and expanding mothers meetings, bands, and Sunday schools with support from Mr Ball and Rev B Clutterbuck.
