Revolt rumor and military illnesses in RNonsz

An event yesterday tied to a revolt plan caused illness across the legion and a detachment of artillery. The spread traced to seed-contaminated wheat due to garde-magazine carelessness, while Spaniards who shared provisions stayed well. War-talk grows with multiple army movements and regional distress reports amid financial failures and political contests.

Remains of Lieut Col J Dyer Interred at Woolwich

The remains of Lieut Col Sir J Dyer were interred Wednesday at Woolwich where he commanded the royal artillery battalion. His death followed efforts to stop the carnage of Lieut Col Levine after a carriage accident. A separate accident near Islington left a boy dead after immersion in the New River Mend. A woman died suddenly in Chelsea after entering a baker shop on Lower Sloane Street.

Dramatic Review of Jealous Life at Haymarket Theatre

The piece features Miss O’Nilla as Mrs Oakley with grace and doubt in her fan, while Mrs Grove overthrows calm with forceful jealousy. Mr Mecorr’s Oakley shows rough economy and awkward posing. The cast includes Tenney, Jones, and Gisps, with minor praise for Major Oakley. An afterpiece, Lock and Key, provoked little interest.
