Pushing Work on the Big Dam Progresses Despite Rain Delays
Foreman Sim mons and crew resumed work on the 800 foot Cascade Dam above the Kettle river after rain caused a temporary pause. Simmons expects a 20 man force to raise the dam about 85 feet and push completion. Quinlivan, contracted for rock for the cribs, plans to resume with 20 men in a few days.
