Carcoar Pastures Protection Board Meets in October
The Carcoar Pastures Protection Board held its usual monthly meeting with members F. M. Hill, M. Southwell, R. J. Fagan, W. J. Radburn, and R. B. Officer present. They agreed to cooperate with the Armidale P.P. Board on stock disease information and veterinary bureaux, granted time extensions for wire fencing debts, approved netting and leasing applications, discussed travelling stock reserves, and planned inspections and prosecutions for rabbit control. The secretary was instructed to correct statements about Hopkins and Hopkins’s rabbit control progress. A new acting inspector, R. P. Oats of Canowindra, was appointed to issue permits and collect scalps. The next meeting is set for a Saturday in November at 2 p.m.
