Council resolution seeks wage cut parity for local government staff
Cra Innes and Qook to pursue the matter with the Casino Municipal Council reading a resolution asking the Government, through the district Member, to legislate similar reductions to local government awards as those for public servants. The letter was received. Waugoola Shire Council requests cooperation to destroy stinkwort on the Belubula River. The Engineer was instructed to report on the matter.

An application by H B Helmsley for slaughtering premises near Barry was held over due to inadequate disposal of offal explanation. Theo Ellis of Millthorpe appointed Inspector of slaughtering premises. D E Hargans Lyndhurst granted permission to erect a range and awning over the footpath. A J Boyd Lyndhurst approved an additional petrol pump.

Engineers Report on Garbage Depot for Newbridge
The Engineer Mr G S Gerty submitted a report noting Bathurst P P Board approval to place the depot land under Council control. The Council should apply to the Department of Lands to set the land apart for the depot. It is requested the Council instruct that such application be made. On motion of Cook and Rowlands, the above was carried. Contract No 1093/1.

Traveller's Mistake in Hotel After Hours Court Case
A Dublin Patios Court proceeding concerns Edwans EB. McCormack a tractor expert and defendant accused of a breach after staying at the Macquarie View Hotel on Saturday April 15. Testimony claimed he slept in Narromine the previous night and arrived in Dublin the next day, while the hotel party asserted travel discrepancies and a conflict over lodging. The judge ordered costs and a 24 hour default.
