The council confirmed minutes of the prior meeting and passed accounts for per head horse fees under By-Law No. 148 with third reading. Council of R M Buchanan No 304 met November 6 with Reeve Shabite Pollard and others present. Amendments to road notes were carried and exemptions granted for surtax. Divisions list poll locations and officers. Members approved subscriptions for Patriot Fund and arrangements for poll clerks and road funds. Carried.
The first Christmas Mass with a sermon will be said in St Josephs Catholic Church Canora with children singing canticles. Christmas Day Masses are at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Strangers are welcome to attend or visit the Crib.
