Florence Resina Heath, 36, widow, faced charges of maliciously wounding John Francia Maskias with intent at Fairfield railway station on July 17. Witnesses described a revolver shot at Maskias as Heath claimed she acted after threats from him. After 15 minutes, the jury returned not guilty and Heath was discharged.
