Walgett reports hundreds of dying lambs as mothers fail to rear. Blue Mountains residents brace for more bush fire risk as winds dry the area.
Premier Sir Thomas Playford announced Adelaide will drink only River Murray water later this year due to drought. He said almost the entire state depends on Murray supplies for industry and agriculture and stressed the need for adequate river water to secure South Australia’s future.
In Adelaide this Tuesday a car and train collision at the Islington level crossing left George McLoughlin a 34 year old surveyor and his daughter Elizabeth McLoughlin aged 5 dead. The victims resided on Islington Road Dudley Park.
