Indian Defence Ministry says Chinese troops opened fire on Indian soldiers at the Sikkim Tibet frontier near Cho La Pass, three and a half miles from Nathu La. Intermittent firing continues with casualties feared from last month's Nathu La clash.
Two Australian soldiers were killed and another wounded when a Vietcong ambush struck a convoy in Phuoc Tuy Province early Saturday.
