Two Men Found Frozen To Death In Snowdrift
Two men from the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission were found dead in a snowdrift after disappearing last Friday morning. Norman Harding of Carnegie and Ng Kean Chong of Hawthorn were working in the Black River area and had left in a van to resume their survey. A search by townspeople and rescue squads located their bodies a short distance apart near their dumped equipment.
