Push-Button Phones In Test Plan For Chicago Area

Telephone tests will move to push-button operation in March. Tilinoia Bell Telephone Co. plans to deploy a test in about 110 locations in Elgin. The unit resembles a compact adding machine with ten buttons and is transistor powered, occupying little space.
