Ronald Edward Day of Way Street O'Connor was driving north on Commonwealth Avenue at 8 15 p m when his car collided head on with a Rankin driven utility from Ainslie. Day's car toppled down the embankment rolling twice ending inverted. He suffered head lacerations and a right elbow fracture. Norman Ellis of Antill Street Queanbeyan was admitted with a fractured ankle after a car skidded on gravel and overturned on Canberra Avenue near Harman naval station. George Scott of Arthur Circle Forrest was treated for probable rib fractures after his car left Monaro Crescent and hit a post. Passengers Mrs Scott sustained a probable fracture. Mr and Mrs Devendra Mitra Meehan Gardens Griffith treated after collision with Keith Bethe Kopooks via Wagga.
