Important changes in the Companies Ordinance and Act
The Chamber of Commerce bulletin reports major updates to the Companies Ordinance coming July 1. The Registrar of Companies will gain powers, a Companies Auditors Board will oversee audits and liquidators, and rules on formation, holding, and transfers will tighten ultra vires limits and allow court appeals on object changes by special resolution.
