Court reserves decision in Moonie claim
Justice Manning reserved his decision after arguments over a present claim by Strevens Pty Ltd and T W H Dee Pty Ltd against Australian Oil and Gas Ltd. The plaintiffs allege a 1960s agreement entitled them to £25 000 each converted to shares plus options upon Moonie No 1 reaching specified oil or gas production. AOG denies breach, citing a 1944 reserve interest with Union-Kern and asserting no commercial production by AOG.
