Drought and bushfires shape Yass Picnic Race meeting
Amid a tough season in drought and bushfire threats, about 200 members and visitors gathered at Mighmont Race Course for the Yass Picnic Race meeting. Guests included Mr and Mrs Scott Contamundw, Canberra dignitaries, and local hosts Mr Harold Connell and Mrs Connell of Cowan Hill Yass, with social events under the trees and a drinks and lunch marquee.
