Hotel theft leads to arrests in Queanbeyan raid

Police traced a break in at the Fouriat Motel temporary bar in Queanbeyan where 21 bottles of whisky and four of gin were taken. Investigations across Canberra and Griffith led to the arrest of Lawrence Pridhitan William Palmer and Reuben Chenhall Mxton who were charged with breaking and entering and stealing liquor valued at £19. Bail granted for Palmer and Exton. remand sought until March 18.
