Two Cars Crashed and Rolled 200 Yards Near City
Last night two cars traveling in the same direction collided on Fairbairn Avenue near the overpass and rolled more than 200 yards. Charles Thomas Hall of Tyson Street Ainslie sustained a cut hand and was treated at the Community Hospital before being discharged. One car ended upright the other on its side. both were extensively damaged. Hall was trapped until rescue with metal cutting shears freed him. Police have yet to determine the exact cause while noting loose gravel and a slight downhill bend. A motor cyclist also sought hospital care after a dog struck his rear wheel.Kelvin Max Smed ley of Deakin sustained minor injuries.
