Russell canteen opening progresses at Hussell Offices site
The Canberra Times reports the Russell canteen at the Hussell Offices complex nears completion with tables chairs cutlery and crockery ordered. Architects Skidmore Owings Merrill design the building to form part of a college quadrangle with a podium and shaded seating area overlooking lake and mountains. Construction involves concrete and wheel aluminium roofing with a novel floor system and ongoing wall finishing work.
