Statements of Evidence for Tariff Board Hearing
Witnesses must submit statements of evidence by 1 July 1968 and general statements by 4 July 1968. Evidence is to be given on oath at the public hearing with as much as possible presented publicly. Confidential material to be marked and may be heard privately if deemed confidential, addressed to the Secretary Tariff Board Canberra with eight copies.

Judge flags public service rule before conviction
In ACT Supreme Court Judge Fox urged public service practice to warn people a man is not guilty until convicted. Dennis Angove, 25, pleaded guilty to indecent assault and assault with intent to rape. He was convicted on both charges, fined $400 for assault and released on bond for indecent assault with probation supervision.
