Nine shot as Soweto riot flares on anniversary day
Police opened fire in five Soweto areas injuring nine Africans amid rioting marking the anniversary of last year’s deadly riots. Police said shots were to protect themselves from stone-throwing youths while riot squads roamed in armored cars. ACT housing loan limit lifted to $20,000 from July 1
