London reports Lord Cranborne announced a plan to resume non intervention with four powers. Proposals include extended safety zones in Spanish waters and immediate consultations among Britain France Germany and Italy after any new attack. Germany and Italy indicate willingness to rejoin the Intervention Committee with conditions, while France backs the British proposal though Italy may delay replying.

The Daily Mirror wireless correspondent at Tours says at the wedding breakfast the Duke of Windsor spoke by phone to Queen Mary and received congratulations from him and his mother Queen Mary, who told him she was glad he was happy.
