Waiting Seats For Bus Pass Passengers

Waiting seats have been placed at key points along the city bus route for convenient passengers. Government Printing Office shifts to Canberra work

Ainslie School Expected Ready by September

Teta anticipates the Ainslie school will be ready for occupation on September 1. The opening was overseen by C Daley of the Federal Capital Commission and C B Newling MA District Inspector of Schools. Newling inspected Territory schools this week and discussed evening classes and other education matters in Canberra and the Territory. Foundations for the Manuka Roman Catholic School and Convent have been laid with brickwork up to floor level. Eight Red Hill residences are under construction. A Church of England Grammar School at Blandfordia is under erection with satisfactory progress.
