Sydney inquest into the death of Adeline Amy Jones 42 wife of a Grenfell farmer found death by shock. Dr Reginald Stuart James testified the patient was highly nervous and the anaesthetic was improperly administered causing a rapid color change and near unconsciousness. Artificial respiration failed and she died. coroner noted private home administration of anaesthesia as undesirable and absolved the doctor.
