Megey Williams a 19 year old student at Hatawood boarded a through train at Lindfield bound for Mine Lake. The train did not stop at Chataween, the girl is said to have jumped from the carriage. She fell on the platform and sustained skull and left arm fractures. She was taken to hospital.
