Four die in bus smash near Roma Queensland

A long distance bus left the Warrego Highway 12 miles east of Roma at 3 am. Four people died and 15 were injured as the vehicle left the road, hit a concrete post, and cart wheeled into a floodwater filled creek, landing on its roof. One survivor described the moment of takeoff.

A US Army private stole a Bell Huey helicopter from Fort Meade and forced a landing on the White House south lawn after Secret Service fired buckshot while the craft hovered three feet off the ground. Bus crash workers aid five trapped passengers in Roma
