Union Oil reports 1000 barrel daily flow at Alvin No. 8 Well
Sydney Tuesday Union Oil announced the Alvin No. 8 Well in the Moonie Field flowed oil at 1000 barrels per day. The test produced a 42 gravity sample through a 4/ inch choke and yielded about 150,000 cubic feet per day of gas. This marks the sixth successful oil and gas interval drilled by the Union group in Southern Queenland's Alton field.
