Rescue on Molonglo River by Two Parkes Men
A 15 year old girl Bessie Smith of West Lake was rescued from drowning in the Molonglo River yesterday afternoon. Two Parkes Barracks men named Wright and Miller aided in the rescue and she was taken to Jamberoo Hospital in a dangerous state but later reported favourable after immersion and shock.
