Road To Coast Closed For A Month In Canberra Area
The main Canberra coastal road via Clyde Mountain will be shut for at least a month after a landslide blocks a 500 yard stretch. Fourth Division Margins Up in Public Service Pay
The Public Service Board announced increases for the Fourth Division to be paid retrospectively from December 3, with first effects expected end January or early February. Sir William Dunk said most of the 162 000 staff would be affected, with some designations excluded or reviewed separately.
