Consul General Appointment in San Francisco

The Department of External Affairs announced yesterday that Mr T W Cutts was appointed Australian Consul General in San Francisco. He succeeds Mr MH Marshall who has held the post since 1935. Cutts was Chargé d Affaires at the Australian Embassy in Moscow from July last year until J K Waller presented credentials earlier this month.
