A Canberra teacher Mrs Jennie Vaskess runs free-expression drama for children, arguing play violence helps release aggression. Her extrincurticular classes in Canberra schools stress spontaneous performance, with holidays offering more sessions for younger kids at multiple venues.
Mry Waskess offers a weeklong drama workshop starting August 21 at Ave. enrolments accepted through the Travel Post Monaro Mall before the opening class. Sessions run two hours daily from 10am to 12 midday or 2pm to 4pm with five supervisors guiding the course.
About 180 people expected at the all nations dinner party tomorrow night at the Church of the Good Shepherd and St James Christian Education Centre Curtin. Nine national tables will feature dishes from Sunada India Tapas New Zealand Wales the Philippines Malaysia Scotland and Australia with 18 guests per table. Proceeds help improve the Cotser River centre used by all denominations.
The National Trust Paddington Sydney committee outlines an eight courtyard garden tour on August 18 from 10 30am to 4pm to showcase small space gardening.
