Canada faces rising oil demand outpacing supply by 1970
Ottawa reports that despite a record oil reduction, Canadian demand will reach about one million barrels daily by 1970, with production at 80 percent of potential if finding continues. Exploration costs must rise to 300 million dollars yearly to meet future needs. West dominates productibility while exploration expands in the East and near Woodstock Ontario.
