A series of four crashes occurred on wet roads in Reid. At the Buree and Curong Streets intersection Noel Gill and Gorge Nicholson caused major damage in a morning collision. Army cadet Robert Bradshaw was injured after a sandwash road skid and tree impact. William Graham escaped injury in a Kerb strike near Manuka Services Hut. Peter Watts and Robert Christie collided at Hotel Wellington corner. Christie was treated at Canberra Community Hospital.
