Boy Thrown From Horse Injures 14 Year Old

A youth about 14 named Richard Meadowcroft from Amally Hostel is in Canberra Community Hospital with severe head injuries after being thrown from a horse yesterday. The animal reared and struck him behind the Australian War Memorial, causing shoulder injuries as well.
