Brisbane September 27 The Treasurer Mr E M Hanlon presented the Budget to Parliament forecasting a surplus of £6576 for 1945 46, down from last year’s £569 215. Revenue is £25 072 275, expenditure £25 065 699. Railway cash counts total £11 130 000, down £2 439 217 from last year. Tax receipts show stamp and succession duties up by £66 556. Miscellaneous receipts rise £989 355 due largely to £880 000 transfer from the Post war Reconstruction and Development Trust Fund to consolidated revenue for development, maintenance and equipment renewals.
