Growth of Cairns Aquatic Club Reminiscences Series
Aquatic review recounts a Cairns fishing voyage led by Iris and crew including Davies and Sunnera. The voyage from Howard Smith wharf to Green Island faced heavy seas, a wrist injury to Ernie Suners, and a retreat to Cairns aboard Iris and later the Vigilant. The crew faced dangerous conditions, repaired gear, and long, tense passages before returning home.
