Malanda Shire Council Meeting Notes and Roads Debate
The Malanda Shire Council held its monthly meeting at Cane Wa on Saturday 16th. Chairman Teave Cre Williams and Dr Jas Erchigh led sessions with several overseers and clerks present. Deliberations covered financials, supply terms, road work and engineer reports, with recommendations to adopt a larger works system, revise road improvements to Crater Road, and pursue plant equipment funding while coordinating with the Lands Department on a sanitary depot site.
